Presentation of the management of severly burned patients, about a case.
– Grade A = Severly burned victim: SBP < 90 mmHg despite resuscitation, prehospital transfusion, ARD or difficult mechanical ventilation with SpO2 < 90%.
– Grade B = Severly burned: SCB > 20%, CBS 3rd degree > 5%, smoke inhalation syndrom, particular deep location (face, hand, foot, perineum), high voltage electrical burning
– Grace C = Burnings at risk of complication: CBS < 20% AND particular terrain: > 75 years, severe comorbidities, suspected or proven smoke inhalation, deep circular burning, particular superficial location, 3rd degree SCB between 3-5%, low electrical burn voltage, chemical burning
– Grade D = non-serious burnings: 2nd degree thermal burning < 10% or 3rd degree <3% + absence of the aforementioned criteria.
